The students will be engaged in a program launched in 2013 called Code.org, a non-profit that is dedicated to expanding access to computer sciences. It focuses on teaching students the vocabulary of coding, as well as giving them hands-on practice.

The course is optional and takes the students step-by-step through the coding process. The course will be introduced to all students during IT and at that time, students will be given a card with the web address and login information for them to explore at home.
